admiration: a poem.

here's a poem i wrote last year :)

i think of you

highly

trip up my speech

so in pen

i tell you

while

wondering what you think

of me,

hoping

you do the same for me

so i can stop

wondering.

today on instagram i saw a post that said "never admire quietly. give people their flowers while they're here." i love that -- imagine a world where we all expressed our appreciation and admiration for people to their face <3

"why hate on other girls when you can tell them how pretty their hair is how bomb their smile is and watch their face light up?" it's wild how happy compliments make people!

so today, be brave and tell someone something you admire about them :)
