hey guys, welcome back to the blog! :)
i've had the idea for a while to share with you all the best purchases i made in the last year. i am soooo cheap and do NOT like to spend money, so keep that in mind :) none of these are affiliated or sponsored or anything, i just wanted to share my favorite things!!
my arizona birkenstocks are my favorite shoes ever and i pretty much wear them every single day in every single season. if you're a barefoot/sandal girlie, birks are the best and worth the money for sure. i love mine so much, they're so comfy but also functional: i've walked miles in them in spain, to the pool, with socks, and everything else. :)
all my girlies out there, this is for you! idk about you, but periods are so annoying and it's always a struggle to find the best pads/tampons. i love cora and lola products, but not as much as the flex disk has literally changed my life. it sounds so dramatic, but it's so true. periods are a big deal, and this disk is actually perfect. it's easier than a tampon to insert, you can't even FEEL IT, and you don't have to change for it for twelve hours! you also just wash it (and boil it once in a while) and reuse it over and over, so it has saved me soooo much money! it's about thirty bucks (i got mine off amazon), so if you want to try it you can always get the once-time use one as well. i will rant about it forever and ever because it seriously is such a big deal.
i don't know about you, but skincare is a constant buzz on social media, and it gets so complicated so fast! personally, i'm super natural and simple with skincare, and when my friend kaelena recommended jojoba oil, (she's studied nutrition and natural health), i had to try it out. and GUYS it works soooo well. it feels so good and it makes your skin glow (more than makeup basically :). i just wash my face and use the jojoba oil, and it works amazing. it also helps with hair growth as well! it makes me so happy i don't have to put on lotion and all the weird stuff in lotion or other products, it's just 100% jojoba. i will be surprised if i ever use anything else on my skin!
my chiropractor recommended using a jade roller for my headaches from my invisalign and she was so right. i love my jade roller and gua sha. they help SO much with headaches, jaw tightness, everything. it's also a beauty tool, that's great too. but it's crazy how tight everyone's jaws are, and the jade roller works wonders.
i love braiding hair, and a comb with a rat tail (why is it called that?!) makes it SO easy to part hair for braids or literally anything!! i love this one i got from hairitage (at walmart) but i bet there are other good options as well!
some runners up: piercing my ears (i love them), wide leg jeans from american eagle (so comfy and cute), buggins bug spray, badger sunscreen, and a big 32oz waterbottle!
